Ye Olde Proverbs

Here are some olde horse proverbs for your consideration:

1. It is a good horse that never stumbles.

2. Mettle is dangerous in a blind horse.

3. A horse is neither better nor worse for his trappings.

    1. A blind horse with mettle shouldn't resist authority, could be bad for his health. I think it means something like that, Charles, according to the explanation in the book, Proverb Lore, available on project gutenberg.
